3 inspiring gut busters

To help you out, in this article, we will be talking about some of the most inspiring gut busters which can help you sculpt your body this winter.

Stationary bike workout

When it’s getting chilly and windy outside, the last thing you want to do is ride your bike and freeze. This is why a 20-minute stationary bike workout is exactly what you need. In addition to helping you lose some extra pounds and fat, this workout will also boost your mood and energy levels. Also, if you are planning to start such a workout, know that there are three basic intensity levels that you can try:

  • Easy: As the name suggests, if you are just beginning, it would be preferable to adopt a steady pace like when biking down a flat road. You can exercise like this for hours if you want to, but it doesn’t mean that at this level, this workout won’t help you stay in shape;
  • Moderate: At this level, your heart rate might start going up a bit, but it will still be comfortable especially if you want to increase your resistance;
  • Hard: This is the part where your body will definitely begin to feel like something is going on. At this level, your resistance should be high for your thighs and calves to start burning.

The key to a successful stationary bike workout routine: building enough resistance in order to for a 20-minute workout session. Once your used to all the intensity levels, alternate them. It’s nice that you can do this workout however you want and push your body as much as you want. Don’t exaggerate, though, and know your limits! In time, your body will start changing and you’ll notice the progress.

Yoga

While it may not look look it, yoga’s an incredible strength training workout. It improves flexibility, therefore sculpting your body harmoniously and doesn’t force it too much. Yoga consists of asanas or poses, which help you find peace, as well as solace.

Moreover, yoga is a great cross-training activity. Do it both indoors and outdoors to prepare for more intense workouts, such as running or weightlifting. There are various styles of yoga you can practice depending on what you want to achieve in relation to your body. The connection between the body and the mind is essential when you want to achieve something, especially fitness-related. This is why disciplines like yoga are definitely a must if you want to maintain your shape this winter.

Pilates

Speaking of gut busters, Pilates is one of the activities that can strengthen your core. You can also increase your flexibility through Pilates moves, and a good thing is that they can be altered according to your needs and preferences. Their main purpose is getting your body in good shape while focusing on the core and balance.

Not many people know that the original name of Pilates is Contrology because the discipline is all about teaching your body the art of control. Also, doing just one hour of Pilates daily resets your metabolism and helps you burn more calories throughout the entire day. The exercises also work the entire body, making for a full workout this winter when you don’t feel like going out in the cold. Moreover, if you feel daring, try a Reformer which is a machine that makes Pilates even more difficult and challenging.
