Online Shopping Resources and more 2023-10-16T12:08:04-04:00

Disclosure: NovemberSunflower.com is a small business. In order to survive, there's a need to make money. I love a lot of things, I share those things, and if I can make a little commission here, and there, I'm 100 percent going for it. Why should the brands I love be the only ones making money, right? Please, use my affiliate links within this post when placing your orders with the brand, or joining up with the brand. Your support is beyond appreciated!

online shopping resources #onlineshopping

If you’ve purchased my book, you know I have a lot of great tips in there for saving money! Plus, never paying for your holiday gifts, too! It’s the perfect guide for online shopping resources, as well as shopping in stores!

WHERE YOU CAN FIND MY Online Shopping Resources EBOOK:

  • On eBookIt, you can download it in a variety of formats, such as PDF for PC or MAC; EPUB, which works for iPad, Nook and most eBook readers and; MOBI, which is the Kindle format.
  • Amazon.com

Now, to keep the book current, I couldn’t put all of the places I use each day. Instead, I’ve created this fabulous page to help you to further you along your path to Finding Your Frugal Way.

INVEST your money & earn towards your investing account!

Acorns

I’m new to Acorns. I use it with my credit cards, so each purchase is rolled up and the difference is invested. I pay $1 per month to have Acorns handle the investments, leaving it to earn without me thinking about it.

They even offer a referral link so I can earn $5 when a referral signs up, and those who use my referral link also earn $5. Pretty sweet.

My Acorns referral link.

POINT EARNING WEBSITES

Swagbucks

It’s the premier website for earning points and redeeming for prizes like gift certificates! The amount of ways to earn points is astounding, here’s just a few:

  • Watching Ads
  • Watching SwagTV
  • Swag Code Hunts
  • Taking Surveys
  • Playing games
  • Redeeming printed coupons at the grocery store
  • Trading in old electronics and cell phones
  • Inviting friends
  • Doing searches with their search engine
  • Filling out no obligation offers

Once you have your points, you redeem them for anything in the Swag Store you want.

Fetch Rewards

Fetch Rewards is an easy-to-use smartphone app. Allows you to earn points when you snap a photo of your grocery receipts, and then redeem those points for gift cards to places like Starbucks, Dunkin, and there’s even an option for a straight up VISA gift card.

Visit the website on your desktop and use my Fetch Rewards referral link, or when you download the app directly from your App store no your smartphone, please use my referral code: 7P9WT

When you use my referral code, you get 2,000 points when you can your first receipt, and I earn 4,000 points for the referral.

I’ve been earning taking photos of my CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target and grocery store receipts after I get home from shopping. I also have my AMAZON account attached to this one, so I earn from my online shopping at Amazon. You can also attach your email address to Fetch, and earn points from grocery receipts that are sent to your email inbox. Stores like Chewy.com, DoorDash, GrubHub, BestBuy, Thrive Market, etc. are all listed in Fetch for earning points towards gift cards.

InstaGC

instaGC cash rebate

A new site that a reader shared with me. You can earn points easily, and redeem INSTANTLY for gift cards. You get 10 points just for signing up. If you refer people, you can earn points and 10% of their earnings.

CASH BACK/CASH REBATE WEBSITES

All of the following sites allow you to shop through them and earn cash back. However, all of the stores I love aren’t on each of these sites, so I use all of them. Each of them allows you to earn by referring friends, too. Every single one of them offer great coupons and discounts that work WITH the cash rebates, which means they do NOT cancel out the rebates.

Many have a whole section to find websites that have FREE SHIPPING. When you don’t have a lot of time to hunt for coupon codes and free shipping, head right to one of the below cash rebate sites, sign up and start your shopping. It’s the least aggravation and the best bang for your “buck”, which in this case is your “time”. ALSO, I like to earn on each of these sites so that I can “spread the cash back earnings around” throughout the year.

Mr. Rebates

When you refer people to Mr. Rebates, you get a bonus equal to 20% of their rebate. You benefit from EVERY purchase they make.

Rakuten (formerly Ebates)

When you refer people to Rakuten, you will earn $5 once the referral makes a purchase through the cash back website.

TopCashBack

Referring people to TopCashback earns you cash. The caveat to this? The referral has to sign up, confirm the account, and then reach $10 in their cash back accrual for you to earn your referral cash bonus. It could take a bit to get this making money for you as far as referrals go.

BeFrugal.com

BeFrugal.com Cash Back

When you refer a friend to BeFrugal.com, and that friend makes a purchase through BeFrugal’s website, you earn $5 Cash Back. Yup, it’s a cash rebate site, but it also has an amazing set of coupons, and printable grocery coupons, and so much more. I think the best part of this site is the Cash Back Rate Guarantee. If you go through BeFrugal for your cash back, and you find a rate HIGHER on another cash back rewards website, then BeFrugal will match 125% of the higher Cash Back rate. Obviously read the fine print on the website, but this is a pretty sweet deal!

Extrabux

You can earn $5 per referral to Extrabux. Then you earn additional cash when your friends shop (equal to 5% on the cash back your friends earn) AND your friends who sign up under you earn $20 cash bonus in their new account, too. Great way to start off a cash back earning fun-fest!!!

Ibotta

Earn shopping through the app at a variety of stores, or with the Google Chrome extension. You can also upload receipts from food shopping trips to stores like ShopRite, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, Aldi, and many more stores where groceries are sold.

You can also earn $1.00 every time you refer a friend to Ibotta (after they sign up with Ibotta and start using the app or the Chrome Extension). Pretty sweet! I happen to have a referral link and a referral code for this one, because we all know I’m using everything I can do make my money work smarter for me! Here’s my referral link: Ibotta App/Chrome Extension

Ibotta Referral Code –> ccj9w

Coupon Cabin

An unbelievable amount of coupons all in one place! You can also earn cash back! Sign up for emails to receive coupons to your email inbox. Find lots of great stuff on Coupon Cabin.

Retail Me Not

This site has not just coupon codes for shopping online, but also Grocery Coupons. It also has printable coupons for things like diapers, hair color, Claritin and more. It’s a great spot for people like me who love to find coupon codes to use online, but also for my husband who wants coupons when he hits the stores to do grocery shopping. Total win in our family. It has a community you can join where you can share the great deals you find online!

FreeShipping.com

If you want 10% cash back on every purchase, with price protection, and other benefits – you can pay $13.00 per month for membership. I don’t recommend it. I don’t do it. But it’s there if you’re interested in it.

DEAL WEBSITES

  • Groupon: If you haven’t heard of Groupon yet, get out from under that rock, my friends. Join in and get great discounts.
  • LivingSocial: It’s got great deals for cities, families, going away and instant deals you can sign up to get on your LivingSocial phone application. If you share the deal with others, you can actually get the deal for free if the people you refer the deal to, BUY IT!
  • Rue La La: If you love to shop, love style and designer products, but want to get the best quality for the BEST PRICES, this is the site you need to join!
  • Zulily: Deals for Moms, Babies & Kids

BIG SAVINGS

Deal Catcher

Find Coupons, Discount Codes and Deals at thousands of stores with simple searches. Just be aware, if you use coupon codes from here, it often cancels out shopping through rebate websites (Mr. Rebates, Rakuten, etc.) Often, cash rebate websites have their own codes and coupons. You have to do the math and see if the deal, or discount code through Deal Catcher is worth more than the discount code and cash back percentage from a cash rebate site.

I have yet to find this to be true, but there are times when I find a code on Deal Catcher for a website that is not located on any of my favorite cash back websites. It happens RARELY, but it does happen.

ShopSavvy

If you’re shopping at your favorite store, and you want to find some of the stuff at a lower price, you can pull out your smartphone, scan the bar code and ShopSavvy will find competing prices not just in nearby stores, but also ONLINE. Unlike other apps, ShopSavvy searches for products with SIMILAR attributes, not just SKUs.
